How to Convert PowerPoint Presentations into a PDF Document

How Can I Convert PowerPoint Presentations into a PDF formatted document to upload to the Brainstork Media Library?

To upload presentation files to the Brainstork media library, they must be in PDF format.

Here are the instructions for the different operating systems:

1. on Windows
2. on macOS

Windows

1. Open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to convert to a PDF.

2. Click on "File" and select "Export" from the drop-down menu.

3. Click on “Create PDF/XPS Document".

4. Click on "Publish".

In the "Publish as PDF or XPS" dialog box, select the desired location to save the file. You can also rename the file to something like "Presentation PDF" for easy recognition. Simply enter the new name in the "File name" box.

macOS

For macOS users, there are two methods to convert a PowerPoint to PDF:

1. Export the presentation as a PDF by clicking "File" and then "Export" from the drop-down menu.

2. Save the presentation as a PDF file by clicking "File" and selecting "Save As" from the drop-down menu.

Method 1

1.  Open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to convert to a PDF.

2. Click on "File" and then select "Export" from the drop-down menu.

3. In the File Format section of the pop-up box, select PDF, then click “Export”.

Choose a name and location that meets your preferences.

Method 2

1. Open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to convert to a PDF

2. Click on "File" and then select "Save As" from the drop-down menu.

3. In the File Format section of the pop-up box, select PDF, then click “Export”.

Choose a name and location that meets your preferences.
