AI Themes helps you quickly see the recurring themes across your interview sessions, along with supporting quotes, sentiment, and the exact video moments where those quotes appear.
To generate AI Themes:
1. Open your project
2. Click the AI Themes tab
3. Click Begin AI analysis and wait until the analysis is completed.
Once completed, Brainstork will generate:
- Theme groups (high-level themes)
- Codes/sub-topics under each theme
- Quotes linked to codes
- Sentiment for quotes
Browse Themes
1. On the left panel, click a theme
2. Review the related quotes displayed on the right side.
3. Use the Sentiment dropdown to filter quotes (e.g., Positive, Neutral, Negative).
4. Use the Session dropdown to view quotes from a specific session.
This is helpful when you want to compare different sessions or focus on emotional signals.
Find Quotes in the Recordings & Create Video Snippets
1. Click on a quote card.
2. Brainstork will open the session at the exact timestamp where the quote was said.
This helps you review the full context (tone, body language, what was said before/after).
3. You can use the snippet option to generate a video snippet from that quote’s timestamp.
This is useful for sharing “voice of customer” clips in reports and presentations.
Edit AI Themes
You can adjust the themes after they are generated.
1. Click Edit Themes.
2. Make your edits:
- Remove codes
- Move codes between themes
- Add new themes (this button appears after AI Themes are created)
3. Click Accept to save your changes.
Re-run AI Themes (Optional)
If you want Brainstork to regenerate themes again you can click Re-run Analysis.
