Translator's Sound Issue's Software Solutions (in Windows)

Observers hear the front room, although they activated the translation. Here are the solutions for the stereo mix on software!

If observers can hear the front room even though they have activated the translation, the cause of the problem seems to be the translator's microphone. The translator's microphone might be picking up output audio, so observers can hear the sound of the front room through the translator.
There are 6 software solutions for Stereromix in Windows for this problem. Translators can use these steps to solve it:

1. Use Troubleshoot Settings

2. Check Your Microphone Settings

3. Check your Microphone Setup

4. Check the Device Manager

5. Restart Audio Services

6. Check Your Output Device

Solution 1: Use Troubleshoot Settings

1- Click on the "Windows" icon and "Settings"

2- Click on the "System" on the settings page. Then click on "Update & Security".

3- Click on" Troubleshoot " left on the page.

4- Click on "Additional troubleshooter".

5- Click on "Playing Audio" and "Run the troubleshooter". It will start detecting problems for you. So wait until this process ends and it will resolve your issue.

6- Choose which device you use.

7- Troubleshooter is giving you the option "Turn off Sound Effects and Enhancements". Click on "Yes, Open Audio Enhancements".

8- Click on the "Enhancements" tab on the window that comes out.

If you don't have such an option, check out the other solutions.

9- Click on the "Disable all enhancements" box then "Apply" then "OK".

10- Close the window that is said: "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem".

11- Try to restart the computer once and check if the issue resolves or not.

Solution 2: Check Your Microphone Settings

1- Click on the "Windows" icon and "Settings"

2- Click on the "System" on the settings page. Then click on "Sound".

3- Click on "Sound Control Panel" on the right of the page.

4- Click on the "Recording" tab on the page.

5- Right-click on the blank space that is on the recording page then click on "Show Disconnected Devices".

6- Right-click on the microphone which are you using then click on the "Properties".

7- Make sure this device is enabled by clicking on "Use this device (enable)". And then click on "Apply" then "OK".

Solution 3: Check your Microphone Setup

1- Click on the "Windows" icon and "Settings"

2- Click on the "System" on the settings page. Then click on "Time & Language".

3- Click on "Speech" left on the screen.

4- Click on "Get started" below the Microphone.

5- It will start detecting the problems if there are any. It will be shown up two options. Select the "Cortana can't hear me"

6- Click on "Set up the mic" then click on "Next".

7- Read the text which is written there loudly. It will detect your voice. After it says "Problems found and fixed", you can close that window.

Solution 4: Check the Device Manager

1- Right-click on the Windows start menu, and open the "Device Manager".

2- In the device manager, you can see "Sound, video and game controllers". Click on it. You will see your audio devices here. Right-click on the hardware.

3- Click on "Update driver".

4- Click on "Search automatically for drivers". It will install the best for your driver. 

5- If it is doesn't resolve right-click on the same hardware. Then click on "Properties".

6- Click on the "Driver" tab at the top of the page.

7-Click on "Roll Back Driver". It will roll back the current driver and install the previous driver. 

8- If it also doesn't work either, you can disconnect the device from the computer by using the "Disable device" button.

9- And then reconnect your device by using the "Enable device" button. Then click on "OK".

10- If it doesn't resolve the issue, right-click on the device. Then click on "Uninstall device".

11- When you reconnected your audio device after that, it will install on the computer automatically after refreshing the page.

Solution 5: Restart Audio Services

1- Type "Services" in the search box and click on it.

2- Find the "Windows Audio" option, right-click on it, and click on "Restart".

3- After restarting go on the same page again, in the same way.

4- Right-click on "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder" and "Remote Procedure Call", then restart them as well.

Solution 6: Check Your Output Device

1- Click on the "Windows" icon and "Settings"

2- Click on the "System" on the settings page. Then click on "Sound".

3- You can change your chosen device under the "Choose your output device" menu.

If the output device is set as the Microphone, you know what was causing all the trouble.

4- Make sure the volume isn’t zero or down after you selected the right device.
