How I can connect a respondent to the session via phone call if they have connectivity issues?

Moderators and Co-Moderators can easily connect a participant to a session by calling their phone number directly through Brainstork.

This feature is designed as an alternative way to connect participants who cannot join due to firewall/VPN restrictions or microphone issues.

Note: Currently, only US phone numbers can be called using this feature

To Call a participant via Dial-out:

1. In the session, go to the "People" tab.
2. Click on the Dial-out button.

3. A pop-up window will open. Enter the participants name and phone number without the country code.
4. Click on Call.

5. Brainstork will dial the number and when the person answers the call, they are connected to the session automatically. The participant will appear in the "People" tab under Dial-Out Participants.

To end a Dial-out call with the participant:

1. Click three dots next to the participant name under the "People" tab.
2. Click "Hang Up".
3. Click "OK" to confirm.
