You get an error message saying "invalid password" if the session link and password don't match. You can follow the next steps to solve this issue:
1 - Make sure the session has not ended
The link & password of the session is deactivated once the moderator has finished a session. All the sessions are finished automatically after 6 hours of inactivity, even if the moderator doesn't finish. Please check if the session you are trying to join is still active.
2 - Make sure you have copied the whole link
In Brainstork each session has a unique link to provide security. You can click the link or copy and paste it into the browser's address bar to access the session. Sometimes the participants might copy and paste a part of the link instead of the whole one, which sends them to a non-existing session. Please make sure that you entered the link correctly.
3 - Make sure you have entered the correct password
You need to enter the correct password to join the session. Please try to type the password if you copy-pasted it before or vice-versa.
4 - Contact us
If you tried all the steps above but still failed to join the session, please contact us via support@brainstork.com. In this case, we check the link and password and verify their accessibility.
